THE NIGHT ATMOSPHERE IN UK

When you want to go out in England with friends and have fun, the most usual thing is going to pubs and discos. Both of them are very popular, but maybe pubs are the most visited. There is a wide range of pubs in England. The new ones which are similar to the Spanish style are full of young people, while the old ones, with more than a hundred years, are more used by older people.
In those traditional pubs you can enjoy yourself with the history, watching the pictures, the architecture and the decoration; many of them were built with wood and stone and they are like museums.
Pubs used to be open from 8.00 pm to midnight and the most popular drink is the beer. A typical drink in England is the “Oil”, which is a kind of beer without gas and not cold.
We visited many pubs while we were there. We went to a traditional pub which was very strange because the walls weren’t straight. We asked the reason and they told us that from the beginnings they have had problems with the house foundations but they carry on the building so now all the walls are funny looking.
We went to some discos, one of them called “Picture House”, it was open from 10.00pm to 3.00am, it has 3 floors and the drinks cost around 3 or 4 pounds each. It has a very good atmosphere, plenty of young people and the music they play is English pop. We felt safe when we were there.
We visited the “Skating Discotheque”, it was an ice disco where you can skate listening to music, which was very funny activity.
We really enjoyed our stay in England and we had great fun with our mates and their families.

One night we went to have dinner to an Indian Restaurant in Halesowen. It was very interesting. We tasted the very famous Indian speciality in the whole West Midlands: BALTI.	Balti Restaurant
